Overview
Visit Mandalay highlights on a tour that includes Zey Cho Market,
Mahamuni Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda, Golden Palace Monastery,
and Atumashi Monastery, finishing the day with a classic sunset from Mandalay Hill.
Covering Mandalay sites in a confortable, climate-controlled vehicle lets you see and do more in just one day,
getting your bearings in Myanmar’s final royal capital.

What to Expect
You'll be picked up in a air-conditioned car in the lobby of your hotel at 8:00 am. 

At 8:30 am, you'll officially start your tour by strolling through the oldest, busiest and most central Zey Cho Market of the city, which is a chance to deeply soak in local life and visit local merchants.
Then, you'll drive to Mahamuni Pagoda and Mahamuni Golden Buddha Image. Next you'll, discover bronze casting and marble stone cutting craftsmen quarters and gold leaf beaters. 
You'll then have lunch at one of the local restaurants around 12pm.

The next stop is the Ku Tho Daw Pagoda, also known as world's largest book, surrounded by 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist scriptures.

After that, you'll visit Golden Palace Monastery, which was once part of the palace complex where King Mindon lived.

Then, the group will visit Atumashi Monastery which was built in 1857 by King Mindon, two years after the capital was moved to Mandalay.

Lastly, you'll visit Mandalay Hill and enjoy the sunset over Mandalay.

The tour will finish around 6:30 pm after sunset and the car will transfer back to your hotel.
